EWS Electrical Wholesale Supplies: a retrofitted widescreen display by the tills

The challenge
EWS already had a widescreen display by the tills at its Guildford trade counter. Updating it was a manual job that rarely got done, so it mostly showed old content. The team wanted it to put current deals and new supplier lines in front of trade customers as they came in.
What we did
We kept the screen and fitted a Screenli mini PC behind it. It runs a playlist of deal of the week slides, supplier brand content, in-store promotions and the company's Google reviews. When a promotion ends or a new line arrives, the team changes the playlist from the dashboard.
The result
The screen by the tills now runs all day with current deals, promotions and reviews. A change made in the dashboard reaches it within 15 minutes, and nobody has to update the screen by hand.
