Who is responsible for the content
Your organisation is responsible for what your screens say, including any health claims. Screenli displays the content you give it. We don’t check it.

Can the screen call patients in?
Not as standard. Screenli shows content; it doesn’t show live queue or appointment information.

Yes. Each screen has its own content.
What works on a GP waiting room screen?
Short, readable slides: practice news, how to book, self-care advice and health campaigns. Large type. Strong contrast.
Can a pharmacy put a screen in its window?
Yes. A high-brightness display keeps a window screen readable in daylight. We supply and fit them.
Does the screen use any patient data?
No. Screenli shows only the content you upload.
What happens if the internet drops?
Screenli stores your content on the player, so the screen keeps playing. After a power cut, it comes back on its own.
Does a pharmacy window screen need a special display?
For the window, yes. A high-brightness display stays readable when the sun is on the glass. Inside, by the counter or in a consultation room, any screen with an HDMI input can run Screenli.
Can a GP surgery with several sites manage every screen together?
Yes. Every site’s screens sit in one browser dashboard. Each screen carries its own content. And staff can be given access to the sites they look after.
How much does a waiting room TV screen cost?
The software is £45 a month per screen for 1 to 3 screens and £35 each for 4 to 15. The mini PC for each screen, and any new screen and fitting, are one-off costs quoted for your surgery or pharmacy.
Can we show notices in other languages?
Yes. Anything you upload as an image or video can be in any language, so a notice can go up in each language your patients use.
How big should the text be on a waiting room screen?
Big enough to read from the back row of seats. Keep each slide to a short heading and a few lines, with strong contrast. Give patients time to read it before the next slide.
Do we need a TV licence for these screens?
TV Licensing says a business needs a licence if anyone on its premises watches live TV channels or uses BBC iPlayer on equipment the business provides, including in waiting areas and on shop floors. A screen that only shows your own content through Screenli isn’t showing live TV or iPlayer.
