Dentists signage today
What goes wrong with dentists signage today
What's broken today
- A silent waiting room raises patient anxiety in the minutes before an appointment.
- Patients never learn about treatments they did not know you offered, so conversations about whitening, aligners and hygiene plans never start.
- Printed leaflets get out of date, are rarely read and feel dated against the modern practice you have built.
How Screenli fixes it
- Calm, branded, low-audio content paces the wait and brings perceived wait times down.
- Treatment overview content opens the conversation: a patient in for a regular check-up sees information about whitening, asks at reception, and a new plan starts that day.
- Practice team profiles build trust in the people who will be seeing the patient.
In practice
Where Dentists use Screenli day-to-day
- Reception welcome screen with the day's team on duty
- Treatment information loops in the waiting area
- Patient education videos before consultation
- Practice team profiles for trust building
How it works
Three steps to your first screen
01
We fit the mini PC and the software
We install the Screenli mini PC behind your TV, commercial display or video wall, wire it to the network and provision it to your account. If you need a new commercial display as well, our UK hardware partners supply and install it at the same visit.
02
We connect your integrations
For estate agents, we wire the live CRM feed (ALTO, VECO, Loop, Reapit, Street or any other CRM we build the integration for in-house). For retailers and venues, we connect your review feed, and a POS or scheduling feed on request where your system supports it.
03
We build your first flow with you
We help you compose your first playlist on the consultation: property carousel, brand video, custom slides, reviews, valuation QR overlays where relevant. You then update everything from one login whenever you need to.
Software
Software from £35 per screen per month. Volume pricing available.
Same product on every plan. Pick by number of screens. No long contracts.
Hardware
Mini PC sold separately
Screenli runs on a small Screenli mini PC that drives any TV, commercial display or video wall over HDMI. The mini PC is a separate one-off purchase per screen, quoted alongside the software, not bundled into the monthly subscription. If you also need a new commercial display, our UK hardware partners can supply and install it alongside the mini PC.

Compliance
Who owns compliance
Compliance with ASA, GDC and MHRA rules sits with the practice. Screenli is a presentation platform; we do not vet, approve or generate content. Your clinical lead owns what reaches the screen.

Common questions
Dentists signage: questions we get asked
- What content works best in a dental waiting room?
- Calm, slow-paced content with low or no audio. Practice information, team profiles, treatment overviews and patient education videos all work well. The most useful pattern is content that opens a conversation: a patient in for a regular check-up sees information about teeth whitening or aligners, asks about it at reception, and a new treatment plan starts.
- Can I promote hygiene plans and whitening on screen?
- Yes. The practice owns content and compliance; the platform provides the canvas. Outcome-based claims and naming prescription-only treatments are the practice's responsibility under ASA, GDC and MHRA rules.
- Are my screens GDPR-compliant?
- Screenli is built and operated to be GDPR-compliant on our side, and data is handled in the United Kingdom. Where personal data is collected through the platform, such as the estate-agency QR lead capture or a QR code you add to your own content, you are the data controller for those leads and responsible for your own GDPR policies and data retention. You can delete leads in the Screenli dashboard at any time once they have been passed to your own system or are no longer needed.
- How calm should waiting room content be?
- Calm and classy. Slow transitions, a low-contrast colour palette and at least 8 to 10 seconds per item. Many waiting-room screens run without audio at all, so design for a quiet, relaxed feel. The goal is to reduce perceived wait time without raising anxiety.
