Who is responsible for the content
Your practice is responsible for what the screen says about treatments, under the General Dental Council’s standards and the advertising rules. Screenli displays what you give it. We don’t check it.

Can we promote treatments such as whitening and aligners?
Yes. Your practice is responsible for what the content says and whether it meets the rules for advertising dental treatment.
Who is responsible for what the screen says?
Your practice. Screenli displays the content. Compliance stays with you.
Can you make the content for us?
Yes. Our sister company, One Stop Creative Agency, can produce the photography and slides.
What screen can we use?
Any screen with an HDMI input can run Screenli. We can also supply and fit a commercial display.
Does the screen use any patient data?
No. Screenli shows only the content you upload.
Can we use the TV already in our waiting room?
Usually, yes. Any TV with an HDMI input can run Screenli through our mini PC. Your TV then shows your practice instead of daytime television. We check it first and tell you if it needs replacing.
How much does a dental waiting room screen cost?
Software is £45 a month per screen for 1 to 3 screens. The mini PC is a one-off purchase for each screen, and a new display and its fitting are quoted for your practice.
Can a group with several practices run every screen together?
Yes. All your practices sit in one browser dashboard, with separate content for each screen. You can give each member of staff access to the practices they look after.
Can the screen show our opening hours and out-of-hours advice?
Yes. Use a slide for opening hours and booking details, and add what to do when the practice is closed. Update it from the dashboard when anything changes.
Do we need a TV licence for these screens?
TV Licensing says a business needs a licence if anyone on its premises watches live TV channels or uses BBC iPlayer on equipment the business provides, including in waiting areas and on shop floors. A screen that only shows your own content through Screenli isn’t showing live TV or iPlayer.
Can we show our Google reviews?
Yes. We sync reviews from your Google listing every week. You choose what each screen shows: every rating, four stars and up, or five stars only.
